Yindyamarra
Yindyamarra: Yindyamarra is a word from the Wiradjuri language meaning 'respect, be gentle, be polite, to give honour, go slowly and take respect'.
Yindyamarra is embedded within our Centre.
Acknowledgement of Country
Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre acknowledges that the land we learn, create and grow upon is the traditional land of the Wiradjuri people.
We honour Wiradjuri Elders and people both past, present and future, and resepect their deep spiritual relationship and connection to the country.
We recognise that this relationship to country has existed over many thousands of years and we support the principles of a reconciled Australia in the interests of our children, tomorrow's leaders.
We also acknowledge and respect the cultural diversity of all the children, families, educators, staff and the local community who make up the learning community at Amy Hurd Early Learning Centre.
